A proposed bill in New York State will ban the sale of electronic cigarettes to everyone! New York Senate Rules Committee Member Kemp Hannon wants to take away your right to a smoke free alternative based on the usual misinformation about electronic cigarettes.
*UPDATE: NY Oks ban on ecigarettes for minors but does not pass all sales ban.
Once again we need the support of the ecig community to write to the Senate Rules Committee of New York state to OPPOSE Bill S07635. There is another bill that will prohibit the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors S02926B. This is something that Phoenix Ecigs and the rest of the community can agree with but outlawing the sale of ecigs to even adults of sound mind is outrageous.
We have prepared a template letter that you can edit in Microsoft Office Word or other text editing software on your computer. Feel free to edit the letter as you see fit and be sure to change the names for yourself as well as the Committee member to whom you are sending. The second paragraph of the letter is where you can insert your own personal story about how ecigs have helped you.
